Who runs this site

hickeymedia.com is run by Hickey Media LLC, a Florida limited liability company in Jupiter, Florida, owned by Blake Hickey. Questions about your information go to [email protected].

What we collect

• What you send us. If you email us, book a call, use the chat window or download a resource, we get what you enter, such as your name, company name, email, phone number and message.
• Booking. The booking calendar runs on HighLevel (LeadConnector), the CRM we use. Your booking details are stored there so we can confirm the call and remind you about it.
• Chat. The chat window also runs on HighLevel. Some replies are written automatically by an AI assistant. We're notified of new conversations and follow up.
• Phone calls. Calls to (561) 468-3885 are answered by Leo, our AI front desk assistant, which can book a call or take a message. Calls may be recorded and transcribed, and Leo says so at the start of the call. Your name, number, business, email (if you give it) and a call summary are stored in our CRM so we can follow up. We don't sell this information.
• Technical data. The site host and CRM may log standard details such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, and may set cookies so the chat and booking calendar work.
• Website checkup. When you run the free checkup, the website address you enter is sent to Google PageSpeed Insights and Google Public DNS to test that site. If you ask for the full report, the name and email you enter go to our CRM so the report can be emailed to you.

How we use it

• To reply to you and answer your questions.
• To schedule and hold calls, and send reminders.
• To send resources you ask for, like the Florida lawyer ad checklist.
• To follow up on your inquiry and send a proposal.
• If we work together, to deliver and invoice the agreed work.
• To send marketing tips if you opted in. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

Services we use

Each of these handles your information under its own privacy policy.

• HighLevel (LeadConnector) hosts the site and runs the forms, booking calendar, chat and email.
• Google provides our calendar, the web fonts used on this site, and the PageSpeed Insights and Public DNS services the website checkup uses.
• Zoom is used when a call is held by video.
• Google Tag Manager loads our measurement tools, and Google Analytics measures how people use the site. Google handles that data under its own privacy policy.

Cookies and your choice

When you first visit, a notice asks whether to load the chat window. Choose "No thanks" and it won't load. You can change your choice any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. The booking calendar may set its own cookies when you use it.

We also use Google Analytics cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) to count visits and see which parts of the site get used. Details and opt-out choices are in the next section.

We don't run third-party advertising pixels on this site. If that changes, this policy changes first.

Analytics and how we measure the site

We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how people find and use this site. It records things like the pages you view, roughly where you are (city or region), the type of device and browser, the website or ad that sent you, and actions such as tapping our phone number or email link, sending a form or booking a call. We use this to see which pages help people and to fix the ones that don't.

We do not send what you type into our forms to Google. We have turned off Google signals and ads personalization in our Google Analytics account, we do not use this data for advertising, and Google Analytics is set to keep visit-level and user-level data for 2 months, the shortest option it offers.

We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how people move through the site, using heatmaps and session recordings of clicks, scrolls and mouse movement. Clarity is set to mask the text people type and the text on the page, so form entries are not recorded. Microsoft handles this data under its privacy statement: https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement. Clarity uses cookies named _clck and _clsk, which you can block in your browser settings.

When you send a form, chat with us or book a call, our CRM also records the page you were on and the website or ad that brought you, so we know where the request came from.

Your choices:

• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without analytics cookies.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with other companies for their own marketing.

Text messages

We only send you text messages if you ask us to or agree to receive them, for example by saying yes on a call or texting us first. Hickey Media LLC may send you appointment confirmations, reminders and replies. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to texts is never a condition of booking or buying. We do not sell or share your mobile number or text consent with third parties for marketing.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent your personal information.
• We don't share it with other companies for their own marketing.
• This site is for businesses, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

How long we keep it

Inquiry, booking and client records are kept as long as needed to respond, work together and meet tax and legal record-keeping requirements. Ask us to delete your information at any time and we will, unless we're required to keep it.

Security

We use established providers and limit access to the people who need it to do the work. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please don't send passwords or payment details through forms, chat or email.

Your choices

Email [email protected] to ask what we have about you, or to correct or delete it. Unsubscribe from emails with the link in any email, and stop texts by replying STOP.
