About these terms
These terms cover your use of hickeymedia.com, run by Hickey Media LLC ("Hickey Media," "we," "us"), a Florida limited liability company in Jupiter, Florida. By using this site, you agree to them. The Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled.
What this site is
This site describes our services, offers free resources and lets you contact us or book a call. Its content is general information about marketing. It is not professional advice for your specific situation, and it is not legal advice. That includes the Florida Lawyer Ad Pre-Flight Checklist, a planning tool built from public materials from The Florida Bar. You and your counsel have the final word on any ad. The free website checkup is an automated test of one load of your homepage; it is not a legal, HIPAA or security audit.
No guarantees of results
Marketing results depend on things no one fully controls, including your market, offer, budget, competition and the policies of platforms like Google and Meta. Nothing on this site is a promise or guarantee of specific results, rankings, lead volume, cases or revenue.
Figures on this site describe past work in specific roles. They are not a prediction of yours. Testimonials are one person's experience, quoted as written.
Ad account recovery
Google and Meta make every decision on suspended accounts, appeals and verifications. Help with recovery covers finding the likely cause, fixing what's on your side and preparing an accurate appeal. It does not include any promise that an account will be restored.
Working together
Work is scoped in a written proposal or invoice before it starts. Prices on this site are starting points and can change. The proposal or invoice you approve is what applies, and it controls if anything conflicts with this page.
Ad spend is paid directly to Google, Meta and other platforms. Licensed music or stock, printing, travel, talent and third-party subscriptions are not included unless your proposal says so.
Text messaging
We only send you text messages if you ask us to or agree to receive them, for example by saying yes on a call or texting us first. Hickey Media LLC may send you appointment confirmations, reminders and replies. We don't send marketing texts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help, or email [email protected]. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to texts is never a condition of booking or buying.
Chat assistant
Some chat replies are written by an AI assistant, and calls to (561) 468-3885 are answered by Leo, our AI front desk assistant, which can book a call or take a message. They are general information and may contain mistakes. Pricing, scope and timing are always confirmed in writing before work starts.
Our content
The text, design, video and original images on this site belong to Hickey Media LLC unless noted. You're welcome to link to the site and to share the free resources in their original, unmodified form. Please don't copy or republish substantial parts of the site without asking first at [email protected]. Brand names mentioned belong to their owners and appear only to describe past work.
Third-party sites and tools
Links to other websites and tools, including booking, social and The Florida Bar's site, are provided for convenience. We're not responsible for their content or practices.
Payment terms
Projects are paid up front or with a deposit. Monthly programs are billed at the start of each month. Consulting is paid in full up front. The exact terms are in your written proposal. Ad spend is paid directly to Google or Meta and is never part of the fee.
Limitation of liability
This site is provided as is. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Hickey Media LLC is not liable for damages arising from your use of the site itself. This does not limit any liability that cannot be limited by law, and it does not apply to services delivered under an approved proposal or invoice, which are governed by those terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. The version posted here, with its effective date, is the one in force.
