What we design

The full creative mix, in one style.

Your ads, your website and your sales materials should look like one company. We design them together, so they do.

Single image ads

Ads for Google, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, sized for each placement, with versions to compare.

Graphics and illustrations

Social posts, banners and custom illustrations. Image-led, with the message in the caption, not crammed onto the picture.

Infographics

A technical service or a legal process laid out so a buyer can follow it in a few seconds.

Presentation decks

Sales decks, proposals and leave-behinds that look like the company that sends them.

Landing pages and website pages

The landing page your ads point to, built for one job, plus service and practice-area pages on your website.

Brand assets

Logos, colors, type and social profile banners that work everywhere your name shows up.

How it works

Human, then AI, then human again.

People set the plan, AI tools speed up concepts, and a person designs and checks every piece before you see it.

  1. Brief

A person sets who it's for, where it runs and the one thing it should do.

  2. Concepts

AI tools help us explore rough directions and layouts faster.

  3. Design

The final work is built in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign with your real assets.

  4. Check and deliver

A person checks every piece. You approve it before anything runs.

One design, sized for each place it runs.

Works with your ads and video

The ad, the website and the video say the same thing.

When a buyer clicks an ad, the landing page should look and sound like the ad they clicked. We plan the design alongside your Google Ads, your Facebook and Instagram ads and your video, so the message matches at every step.

  1. Sees the ad
  2. Lands on your website
  3. Watches the video
  4. Books a call

Designing ads for a law firm?

Lawyer ads in Florida follow The Florida Bar's advertising rules (Rules 4-7). We design with those rules in mind and plan time for Bar filing where it's required, before an ad's first use. Your firm and your counsel approve every piece before it runs. Blake Hickey is not a lawyer, and Hickey Media doesn't give legal advice.3

FAQ

Straight answers.

What does a design project cost?

Small design jobs start at $350. Monthly programs start at $1,500 a month. Larger projects like decks, landing pages and brand assets are quoted in writing after a free call, before any work starts.

Do we get the source files?

Final files are delivered at completion. Tell us on the call which formats you need, and they go into the proposal.

Can you work with our brand guidelines?

Yes. We design with your real logo, colors, type and photos. If you don't have brand guidelines yet, brand assets can be part of the project.

Do you use AI for design?

Yes, for speed. People set the plan, AI tools help us explore rough concepts faster, and a person designs the final work and checks every piece before you see it. We don't present AI images as real people, clients or offices.

Is printing included?

No. Printing is paid separately. We prepare the files to your printer's specs.

Can you design ads for our law firm?

Yes. We design with The Florida Bar's advertising rules in mind and plan time for Bar filing where it's required. Your firm and your counsel approve every piece before it runs. Blake Hickey is not a lawyer, and Hickey Media doesn't give legal advice.

Will better design bring us more leads?

Clear design can help a buyer understand your offer faster, but we can't guarantee leads. We plan each piece around one job and one place it will run, so you can see how it's used.

Let's talk about your next design.

  2. Talk for 15 minutes

By phone or Zoom. Bring the pieces you need and where they will run.

  3. Get it in writing

If we're a fit, a written proposal with your exact price before any work starts.

  2. 500+ freelance projects since 2006, as Blake Hickey states them. Past work is not a promise of future results.
  3. General information, not legal advice. Your firm and its counsel decide what the rules require for each ad, including whether it must be filed with The Florida Bar.
  4. Starting prices. Your exact price is in writing before any work starts. Ad spend is paid directly to Google or Meta and isn't included in any price. The sample ad on this page is an illustrative layout, not client work.
